"The Optimism of Colour: William Perehudoff, a retrospective"

Newzones would like to extend our congratulations to William Perehudoff, who opened a monumental retrospective show at the Mendel Art Gallery on October 1. "The Optimism of Colour: William Perehudoff, a retrospective", features 60 + paintings which follow the evolution of Perehudoff's work since the 50's. Emphasizing Perehudoff's later paintings, the exhibition works to highlight the reputation Perehudoff has created for himself both nationally and internationally. The exhibition was curated by New York City's Karen Wilkin, and was drawn from both public and private Canadian collections.

"The Optimism of Colour: William Perehudoff, a retrospective" will travel to Kamloops Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Windsor and Robert McLaughlin Gallery in 2011 through 2012. It will be on view until January 9, 2011.

Congratulations!
